Lady Trojans defeat Queen City in 4

The Cumby Lady Trojans notched a win as they took down Queen City Friday in four hard-fought sets (25-23, 25-27, 25-15, 25-20).

Erin Morgan had four aces, nine kills and one block, and Heather Mc-Craw had one ace, six kills and two solo blocks. Rylee Krotky, Savannah Kurn and Neely Hammond also had three aces each.

“Our outstanding player of the game is Heather McCraw for stepping up and showing just how big of a presence she can be on the floor,” Head Coach Erin Bowers said.

The Lady Trojans varsity and junior varsity will play against Quitman Tuesday at home beginning at 4:30 p.m.
