The Panthers would immediately make their presence felt in the first inning, scoring four runs and taking a 4-0 lead. Ford would then add two more runs in the second inning to extend their lead to 6-0.

The Eagles would finally get on the board in the third inning. Cade Childress and Kevin Hernandez both scored, as the Eagles trimmed the score to 6-2.

The Panthers would continue to score in the sixth inning. They would add three runs to increase their lead to 12-5.

Ford would add seven more runs in the top of the seventh inning, increasing their lead to 19-5. Though the Eagles scored again in the bottom of the seventh inning with a home run by Dane Oud, it wasn’t enough to make a difference, as the Panthers handed the Eagles a 19-6 loss.

As a team, the Eagles batted 7 for 32 (.219) from the plate. Oud led with two hits, while Sean Carpenter, Childress, Hunt, Tucker LeCroy, and Wright tallied one hit each.
