If you have not already had your family vaccinated against the flu this year, we strongly encourage you to do so. Other precautions that help reduce the spread of flu germs: wash your hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer frequently. Cover your coughs and sneezes; into your elbow is best. If you have the flu, stay home from work or school. For additional precautions, ask your healthcare provider.

We have access to highly trained specialist close to home with Access Physicians MultiSpecialty Clinic at 113 Airport Road, Suite 200. Offering specialties such as Endocrinology for diabetes and thyroid disease management, Neurology for stroke patients, Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine for disorders of the respiratory system and a Psychiatrist for behavioral and mental health concerns, their highly trained physicians are available via telemedicine Monday-Thursday. The CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital cafeteria will be offering Chick Fil-A sandwiches and wraps during lunch on Monday, Dec. 9. We welcome anyone from the community to dine with us – whether you are visiting a patient or not. Sandwiches are $5, and wraps are $7.
