A memorial service for Mary Fowler, age 61 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at a later date. Mrs. Fowler passed away on March 29, 2022 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab.
Mary was born on October 13, 1960 in Mount Pleasant, TX to Howard Willis and Virginia Belle (Walker) Tyler. She married Darrell Fowler. Mary was the third sibling of four. She attended school in Corsicana and Longview, TX. Mary lived most of her adult life in the Longview area, she was employed at A-1 Party Rental, up until her diagnoses of stage four cancer. Mary had a variety of joys. She was dependable and a hard worker. Anyone who knew Mary knew she was her own person.
In her final months, Mary and I talked about her relationship with her savior. I was sure Mary had a personal relationship with God. One of her statements to me was, “I love my Jesus.” I told Mary many times she was my hero. She had loved through and overcome so many trials in her life. She is now in God’s hands.
She is survived by her husband; son, Michael Tyler; granddaughters, Kielyne Tyler, Ashley Tyler, and Chelsea Tyler; brother, Merlin Tyler; sister, Betty Waters and husband, Curtis; nieces, Jeanenne Baldwin, Shawee Stockton and Michelle (Tyler) Lester; nephews, Keith Baldwin and wife Kim, Marc Pilcher and wife Lisa, Jonathan Stockton and Justin Tyler and other beloved relatives.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Walker) Tyler; father, Howard Willis Tyler; son, Robert Tyler and sister, Virginia Irene Stockton.
