Graveside services for Joyce Jane Simmons, age 77, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, Texas. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Jane passed away on Jan. 9, 2024, at her residence. She was born on July 8, 1946, in Spur, Texas, to Obie and Emma Havner.
Jane was a checker at Wal-Mart for many years and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her so, Jason Wade Simmons (Alicia); sisters, June Gibbons and Judy Prather; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Wilburn Wade Simmons; brothers James Havner, Roger Havner, Ray Havner, and Roy Havner; as well as one sister, Ida Cantrell.
