Volunteer cooks, drivers needed

Meal A Day is in need of cooks and drivers. Cooks start at 7 a.m. and are usually done by 10:30-11 a.m. unless prep for the next day is necessary. This is not a head cook position; people are needed to stir pots and fill plates. Cooks are needed on Wednesday or Thursday.

Drivers are needed Monday for two in-town routes and Tuesday in Como-Pickton. In-town routes for drivers usually take about one hour. The Como-Pickton Route takes about two hours.

Meal A Day is located at the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center, 150 Martin Luther King Jr.Drive in Sulphur Springs. Anyone interested should contact Karon Weatherman at 903-885-1661.
