Hopkins County United Way (HCUW) announced its campaign lunch and report meetings for the upcoming fundraising season.
“We are planning towards another exciting and successful campaign, and as of now, we are moving forward with our typical campaign lunches,” said Susan Berning, executive secretary for HCUW.
First on the schedule is the Workers Lunch at noon Tuesday, Sept. 22 at First United Methodist Church fellowship hall on Church Street in Sulphur Springs. Anyone who will be attending or who would normally attend but will be unable should contact Berning by Wednesday, Sept. 16. A gluten-free lunch option will be available.
The Lead Donor Lunch will be at noon Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Sulphur Springs Country Club. Deadline for accepting or refusing reservations is Friday, Sept. 11.
In addition, beginning this year, HCUW will not be producing a 100% Club listing. Updated campaign totals following the weekly report meetings will be provided.
Report meetings are currently scheduled for the following dates at the Texas AgriLife Extension office on Houston Street, with all meetings starting at 9 a.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 20
• Tuesday, Oct. 27
• Wednesday, Nov. 4
• Tuesday, Nov. 10
Berning said she will announce any changes to the schedule or lunches.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to walk through another campaign with you by our side,” Berning said.
