Several hurt in I-30 wreck Tuesday

Several people sustained injuries from a multiple vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in the eastbound lane of Interstate 30 between Sulphur Springs and Brashear.

The accident, which occured about 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, was reportedly in the construction zone. Several vehicles sustained damage.

Traffic backed up on the Iinterstate for several hours.

At least two people were transported by helicopter ambulances as a result of injuries sustained.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash with no report has been released at press time Friday according to Greggory Williams, Sergeant, Texas Department of Public Safety/Media Communications/ Safety Education.
