After months of negotiation, the $900 billion relief bill was signed by President Donald Trump Sunday.

The process of sending out the $600-per-person checks began this week, and is scheduled to be processed by direct deposit Monday; paper checks/Economic Impact Payment debit cards were scheduled to be mailed out Wednesday, Dec. 30 for those without direct deposit information, according to the Internal Revenue Service.

The treasury must stop sending checks by Jan. 15, but those who are eligible for a check and do not receive one by then can claim it on their tax return.

The relief package also includes a $300 per week unemployment benefit, $82 billion for education and $285 billion for small business loans. The bill also includes funding for the purchase ($20 billion) and distribution ($8 billion) of vaccines.
