The following reports are based on logs documenting calls received by Hopkins County emergency communications staff from 5:30 a.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Monday

9:11 a.m.: Dispatch received a report of a missing person or runaway possibly located at the Interstate 30 Fast Mart in Cumby.

10:34 a.m.: Deputies received a request to do security for an hour at the Dollar General store in Como. 10:35 a.m.: Deputies re

10:35 a.m.: Deputies received a report of suspicious activity at a residence on County Road 4760. A woman reported a white van was sitting in her driveway.

• Deputies were requested to perform a civil standby at a County Road 1186 residence. A woman reported her daughter and boyfriend wanted to retrieve property from the residence.

Hopkins County communications operators answered 327 non-emergency calls, 34 calls for service and 14 emergency calls. For the period from 5:30 a.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Monday, officers conducted one funeral escort and four special patrols. Three people were booked into and three released from county jail, which held 138 inmates at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
