Winnsboro, Texas — CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic (CTC) celebrated the opening of a new primary care clinic in Winnsboro with a ribbon cutting and blessing on Monday, March 30.

Located at 719 West Coke Road, Medical Office Building 1, Suite 3, CHISTUS reports the facility is prepared to meet the ever-growing health care needs of the Winnsboro community, with a fully staffed care team, six exam rooms and an on-site lab.

“Our goal is to continue to build on the quality of care we have established here in the Winnsboro community,” said Erin Acker, CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic vice president of operations. “We want to make sure that all patients can receive the best care at any of our facilities.”

The primary care clinic team's focus is providing excellent care for the entire family. Their services include sick visits, routine physicals and wellness screenings, disease management and health education.

All CTC locations are fully integrated with the electronic health record system Epic. This includes access to MyChart, a free app to help patients manage their health and stay connected to CHRISTUS Health. MyChart enables patients to schedule appointments, access on-demand care, refill prescriptions, review their medical records, and exchange secure messages with their clinician.

“Having Epic in our clinics and hospital makes it easier for patients, doctors, and practitioners to interact with one another, leading to better commu-nication and building a better patient-provider relationship,” said Paul Harvey, president of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital— Winnsboro and Sulphur Springs locations.

The clinic is staffed by Physician Assistant Don Roseberry, PA-C, who has more than 15 years of patient care experience. As a Winnsboro-area resident himself, he indicated he is proud to offer these expanded services to his community.

Roseberry earned his Bachelor of Science in nuclear medicine technology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark., and his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn.

“I think this is all about the people of Winnsboro and the surrounding area, and our desire to deliver high-quality, excellent care,” said Roseberry. “I look forward to building long-term relationships with both patients and the community of Winnsboro and beyond.”

“We are excited to continue the great relationship we have with the Winnsboro community,” added Dr. Brent Wadle, institute chair of primary care for CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. “The opening of this clinic will continue to reinforce our commitment to this community and allows us to continue to bring the best healthcare to the area.”
