Extension To Host 4-H Skills Camp June 27-29

The 2023 Hopkins County 4-H Skills Camp will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday June 27-29, at Hopkins County Extension Office, 1200B Houston St. in Sulphur Springs.

The camp is a free program for students who will be entering 6th or 7th grade in August.

Lunch will even be provided. Registration is required, however, because the camp will only be available to 10 students.

The skills to be focused on will be sewing, public speaking, crafting and grilling. June 27 the theme will be 'Team Work-Needle Work.' June 28, then a Sewing Workshop will be featured. The program will conclude on June 29 with 'Outdoor Cooking-Grilling 101' for future grill masters.
