Election forum set Thursday

A school board Election Forum will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, sponsored by the Hopkins County Republican Party.

All school board candidates in the county were invited to attend.

Sulphur Springs ISD candidates Darla Reed, Wes Cooper, Erv Larry and Adam Teer; along with Como-Pickton candidates Brittney Smith, Jim Murray, Keith Monk, D.J. Carr and Danny Ireland; and Dike City Commission Candidates for Mayor - Drew Bell and Brett Lester. Seeking Dike commissioner seats are candidates Betty Waters, Lucretia Pool, Dirk Wessels and Pam Harder.
