Carl E. Azebell American Legion Post to host Spring Gun Show April 20-21

Carl E. Azebell American Legion Post No. 340 will present their Spring Gun Show the weekend of April 20-21 in Winnsboro.

Outdoor sportsmen, hunters and gun enthusiasts will converge on the Winnsboro City Civic Center located at the City Park, 915 Wheeler Drive. The doors will open at 9 a.m. both days, with closing time at 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission to the event is $7 for adults, $5 for veterans with ID, and children 12 and younger who are accompanied by an adult will ge admitted to the Springs Gun Show free.

Vendors will sell guns, ammo, knives, powder, reloading supplies and much more. There will be ample on site parking and concessions for patrons to enjoy, American Legion members noted in a release about the upcoming show.

Every year, Post No. 340 produces two gun shows, one in the spring and the other in the fall. Proceeds from these shows go to supporting organizations in the community, local veterans in need, scholarships, and tuition for attendees to the American Legion Boys’ State program.

Carl E. Azebell American Legion Post 340 meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the post headquarters, 201 West Broadway in Winnsboro.
