Friday, March 8

„ Police responded to a disturbance on West Industrial Drive. The suspect, Ashlyn Isabelle Wallace, was reported to have left. Officers stopped her at 9:08 p.m. March 8 on West Industrial Drive. They advised they’d seen a video of her slapping her former spouse. The 27-year-old Princeton woman was arrested for family violence assault by contact.

„ Police responded at 8 p.m. March 8 to what was reported as a hit and run crash on Craig Street. While en route, Officer Thad Cook noticed a white SUV dragging a front bumper. He pursued the GMC Acadia and got it stopped on Gilmer Street. The SUV allegedly had the bumper of the vehicle that’d been hit. Laura Mendez claimed she was taking the vehicle home to tell her husband to take care of it. The 32-year-old Sulphur Springs woman was arrested for duty on striking an unattended vehicle and on two driving while license invalid warrants, according to arrest reports.

Saturday, March 9

„ Brandon Rene Frazier, a passenger in a vehicle stopped at 1:32 a.m. March 9 on Houston Street for a traffic violation, was found to be wanted. The 32-yearold Sulphur Springs man was jailed on outstanding drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license charges.

„ Dakota Hunter Parker was stopped at 1:56 a.m. March 9 for a traffic violation. The 24-year-old was arrested on two warrants for not vaccinating animals against rabies as required, and one each for failure to maintain financial responsibility and expired registration.

„ A state trooper conducted a traffic stop on a red GMC truck driven by Martin Carreon Jr., 32, of Sulphur Springs for a defective license plate lamp at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Industrial Drive. Upon contact, the trooper claimed to smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Carreon’s breath. The man also reportedly had glassy, bloodshot eyes. When he exited his vehicle, he was unsteady on his feet. Carreon admitted to drinking two Modelos prior to the traffic stop, Rodriguez alleged in arrest reports. He was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated first offense.

Sunday, March 10

„ Officers stopped a woman walking north on the right side of Church Street. When asked, she refused to give a date of birth and only the name Russia Nazi. She was taken into custody at 3:08 a.m. March 10 for use of sidewalk and failure to identify.

„ Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing at 5:48 a.m. March 10 at a travel center. A records check using the man’s identity showed 21-yearold Andrew Michael Magnuson to be wanted on 12 traffic charges.

Monday, March 11

„ John Martinez, 29, of Como was arrested during a traffic stop on State Highway 11 east near County Road 2320 at 12:55 a.m. He was found to have an active warrant for assault or family violence. Bond was set at $5,000. Codey Macaul Dodd, 29, of Sulphur Springs was also arrested for no driver’s license.

„ Andrew Michael Magnesia, 21, of Sulphur Springs was arrested at the Love’s Truck Stop on Hillcrest Drive at 5:48 a.m. on 12 separate warrants for expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license. Officers were called to the location in reference to a criminal trespass.

„ Raymond Antywan Larry III, 23, of Idabel, Oklahoma was arrested at the Tulsa County jail at 12:30 p.m. and transported to Hopkins County on a warrant for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $250,000.

„ Police stopped a vehicle at 8:09 a.m. March 11 on South Hillcrest Drive for a traffic violation. A records check showed the passenger, 23-year-old Keaton Kiefer of Sulphur Springs was found to be wanted. He was arrested on warrants for expired registration, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

„ Officers were requested to check the welfare of a person on South Broadway Street at 12:49 p.m. March 11. Upon arrival, they recognized Juan Medrano Tinajero from previous contacts. He indicated he understood and wouldn’t bother anyone. He was visibly acting irate, screaming in an aggressive manner toward multiple people, walking in front of vehicles and yelling as they left the property, and cursing at people as they walked to their vehicles. He was advised to calm down and go home. When he failed to listen, and began the behavior in the roadway, The 37-year-old Brashear man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, officers alleged in arrest reports.

„ Cumby Police arrested Edgar Emmanuel Perez Carrillo, 35, of Dallas during a traffic stop on eastbound I-30 near mile marker 109 at 7:20 p.m. Carrillo was stopped for speeding and driving in the passing lane. During the stop, police noticed an open beer can, but the passenger claimed it. The officer requested Carillo’s driver’s license, but the man handed the officer a passport, stating he did not have either a driver’s license or insurance. Carrillo was booked in on charges of no driver’s license and failing to maintain financial responsibility.

„ Jovan Tyree Tyson, 40, of Little Rock was arrested at the Cass County, Missouri jail at 9 a.m. on a Hopkins County felony warrant for possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 1/1B controlled substance. Bond was set at $150,000.

„ Hopkins County deputies took Raymond Murphy, 60, of Winnsboro into custody at the Winnsboro Police Department at 10:14 p.m. Winnsboro Police detained Murphy, discovered he had an active Hopkins County warrant for failure to appear. Police contacted Hopkins County Sheriff 's Office. Deputies transport Murphy to Hopkins County jail on the warrant.

„ Deputies made contact with a woman on State Highway 19 north at FM 71 at 4:58 p.m. while investigating a previous arrest due to the woman providing a false name. She continued to provide fictitious information to deputies and was arrested again for failure to identify by giving false or fictitious information.
