Dr. Jimmy Henry, pastor in Hopkins County, announced this week the release of his book, The Bride the Lamb’s Wife: That Great Host Called the Bride of Christ, written as a scripturally-based research about Christ’s wife.

“My purpose in writing this book is to identify the bride, discover where she is now and learn what she will be doing for all eternity,” Henry said.

This 97-page book is a compilation of Biblical facts regarding what is described as the bride of Christ, he explained.

The new book poses the questions: Does Christ have a bride? Is it a physical bride or spiritual? Did their marriage occur in the past or will it be a future event?

The book addresses subjects such as:

• What is the metaphor of a lamb used for Christ?

• The story of Christ and his bride.

• Why did/does Christ need a wife?

• Where did/will the bride come from?

• Who will comprise the bride?

• Where will Christ and his bride reside?

Henry has spent over 66 years in the ministry, serving God through the local church. His passion, he said, is to reveal truth from the light of scripture, which led him to write this book, and his “greatest desire to share those truths...learned through many years of study with those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.” Overall, Henry has written and published 17 books.

Henry has been a Baptist minister for 66 years, pastoring at nine churches in Texas and Arkansas. Currently, he is the pastor of Caney Baptist Church in Pickton.

The Bride the Lamb’s Wife is available in paperback for $11.95, plus shipping, or for Kindle, currently $5.99 on Amazon.
