Audrey Yates signed a national letter of intent to run cross country and track at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall. Yates has enjoyed a stellar running career at Miller Grove. Throughout high school, she was a three-time Regional Qualifier and one-time State Qualifier in cross country and three-time Regional Qualifier in track and field.
Sebastian Tovar signed a national letter of intent to run cross country at Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado. Tovar only ran one year of varsity cross country for the Hornets, but contributed in a big way. During his senior season, he helped the Hornets win District and Regional Championships. He also contributed to a third-place finish at the State Championship Meet.
Shaun Dill signed a national letter of intent to run track at Paul Quinn College in Dallas. Dill only ran for track for Miller Grove for two years, but enjoyed two strong seasons as a runner. As a junior, he qualified for Regionals in the 800-meter run. During his senior year, he was on the Hornets’ cross country team that finished third at the State meet, and also qualified for Area in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs in track.
