SAN MARCOS — The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) recently announced their Academic All-State selections for the 2026 softball season. Cumby Collegiate High School had four players receive Academic All-State nods.
The Academic All-State Teams are designed for senior athletes who excel in the following categories: GPA, class rank and SAT/ACT scores. To be nominated for Academic All-State a student must be an athlete, manager or student trainer in good standing with the team, of good moral character, a senior and have a grade point average of 92 or above.
