_ The Cumby Collegiate High School Class of 2026 graduation doors will open at 6:15 at Ferguson Hall of East Texas A7M University on Friday, May 29.
_ Sulphur Bluff High School Class 2026 graduation will begin at 6:30 on Friday, May 28 in the gym.

_ The Hopkins County Dairy Festival will be held June 5-13. The 2025 theme is 'Stars, Stripes, and Dairy Delights!' A Hot Air Balloon Glow will begin at 8 p.m., weather permitting, on Celebration Plaza.
Friday, June 5
_ The Hopkins County Dairy Festival opening ceremony/ ribbon-cutting will be held at noon June 5 on Celebration Plaza. A Hot Air Balloon Rally and Glow will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 5, weather permitting, at Shannon Oaks Church.
Saturday, June 6
_ Hopkins County Dairy Festival Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Buford Park following the traditional parade route to Brookshire's; Milking Contest for candidates, parents and balloon pilots begins at 3 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Livestock & Dairy Auction; Ice Cream Freeze-Off at 4 p.m. at Shannon Oaks Church; and Hot Air Balloon Rally and Glow at 6 p.m., weather permitting at Shannon Oaks Church.
Saturday, June 13
_ Hopkins County Dairy Festival Junior Dairy Show will begin at 9 a.m. in Hopkins County Regional Civic Center Arena, followed at 6 p.m. by the Queen's Coronation Pageant at 6 p.m. in Sulphur Springs ISD Auditorium at the Civic Center.
July 17-18 _ Hopkins County Museum and Heritage Park's Annual Garage Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 17, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 18.
