Early voting in the May 26 Republican and Democratic Party runoff elections will be conducted next week.
Voting
All early voting will be conducted in the Hopkins County Annex at 128 Jefferson St. in Sulphur Springs in the Justine of the Peace 2 Courtroom, in the entrance beside the tax office. Voting will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, May 18-22. Voters may cast ballots in either the Republican Runoff or Democratic Runoff.
Voting on Election Day, May 26, will be conducted at eight consolidated voting sites, according to the information provided by Hopkins County Voter Administration Office; Hopkins County voters should be able to cast ballots at any of the voting centers on Election Day. Election Day voting centers include: „ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1000 Texas St., Sulphur Springs, in the front foyer „ HW Grays Building in Pacific Park, 413 Beckham St. in Sulphur Springs, in the meeting room „ Hopkins County Courthouse, 118 Church St. in Sulphur Springs, in the first floor courtroom „ Cumby Municipal Building, 100 East Main St., in Cumby, in the city meeting room „ Sulphur Bluff ISD, 1027 County Road 3550 in Sulphur Springs, in the foyer outside of the gym „ Como-Pickton CISD, 13017 State Highway 11 east, Como, in the new gym „ Miller Grove ISD, 7819 FM 275 south, Cumby, in the foyer outside of the gym „ North Hopkins ISD, 1994 FM 71 west, Sulphur

Republican Runoff
Hopkins County Republican voters will be asked to cast ballots in four different races.
John Cornyn and Ken Paxton are squaring off in the runoff for the Republican nomination for United States Senator. In November, the winner will face Democrat James Talarico, who secured the nomination with 52.45% of votes in the Democratic Primary.
Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy are in a runoff for the party nomination for Attorney General. The winner will face the winner of the May 26 Democratic runoff for AG on ballots in November.
Bo French and Jim Wright are in a runoff for the party nomination for Railroad Commissioner. The winner will face Democrat Jon Rosenthal on ballots in November.
Thomas Smith and Alison Fox are in a runoff for the party nomination for Place 3 Judge on the Court of Criminal Appeals. The winner will face Democrat Okey Anyiam on the ballot in November.
The winners of these elections will face a Democratic rival on the November ballot.
Democratic Primary
Hopkins County Democrats will be asked to select their choices for the party nomination in two races.

Seeking the Democratic Party nomination for Attorney General are Joe Jaworski and Nathan Johnson. The winner will face the winner of the Republican runoff runoff for AG on November ballots.
