„ The Sulphur Springs High School Class of 2026 graduation will take place at the Gerald Prim Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 15.
„ The Saltillo High School Class of 2026 graduation will take place at the Kerry M. Garmon Gymnasium at 7 p.m. on Friday May, 15.
Saturday, May 16
„ Sulphur Springs Blue Blazes’ 2nd Annual Spring Carnival will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16, at Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, by Rowdy Goose Parties & More. Wristbands are $15. Donations welcome. Event includes inflatables, mini golf, laser tag, vendors, food trucks and a truck show.

„ The Como-Pickton top ten banquet will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19.

„ The Cumby Collegiate seniors will walk the halls of campus at 9 am on Wednesday, May 20.

„ An open mic night at Main Street Theatre, 225 Main St., will begin at 5:45 p.m. May 21

The Como-Pickton High School Class of 2026 graduation will happen at 7:30 p.m. om Friday, May 22 on the football field.
Saturday, May 23
„ A comedy show will be featured starting at 7 p.m. at Main Street Theatre, 225 Main St.
Sunday, May 24
„ The North Hopkins Cemetery will hold its 2026 memorial service on Sunday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the cemetery chapel in Birthright on Highway 19 North. Everyone is invited to attend and if you cannot attend, we would appreciate your donation to help with the upkeep of the cemetery and chapel. Hopkins County Dairy Festival will be held June 5-13. The 2025 theme is 'Stars, Stripes, and Dairy Delights!' A Hot Air Balloon Glow will begin at 8 p.m., weather permitting, on Celebration Plaza.

„ Hopkins County Dairy Festival opening ceremony/ ribbon-cutting will be held at noon June 5 on Celebration Plaza. A Hot Air Balloon Rally and Glow will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 5, weather permitting, at Shannon Oaks Church.
Saturday, June 6
„ Hopkins County Dairy Festival Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Buford Park following the traditional parade route to Brookshire's; Milking Contest for candidates, parents and balloon pilots begins at 3 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Livestock & Dairy Auction; Ice Cream Freeze-Off at 4 p.m. at Shannon Oaks Church; and Hot Air Balloon Rally and Glow at 6 p.m., weather permitting at Shannon Oaks Church.

„ Hopkins County Dairy Festival Junior Dairy Show will begin at 9 a.m. in Hopkins County Regional Civic Center Arena, followed at 6 p.m. by the Queen's Coronation Pageant at 6 p.m. in Sulphur Springs ISD Auditorium at the Civic Center.
