Thefts and break-ins continue over weekend in Sulphur Springs

Sulphur Springs continues to experience both break-ins to structures and vehicles, according to SSPD incident reports. Incident reports are reports made by police without a corresponding arrest report. 

On Sept. 27 at approximately 10:24 a.m. a firearm was reported stolen out of a vehicle at an address in the 1400 block of Brandy Circle.

On Sept. 28 at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the 100 block of Pollard Street a Harley Davidson motorcycle was reported stolen. 

On Sept. 29 at approximately 4:15 a.m. the Eagle College Food Mart at 208 College Street reported burglary of a building and damage to the front glass of the building. 

From Sept. 14 to Sept. 24 there were eight incidents involving vehicle break-ins or stolen vehicles, according to incident reports.

On Sept. 25 there was one incident of a burglary of a building involving four perpetrators, one of whom has not yet been caught. Read more here

From Sept. 7 to Sept. 9 there were four incidents involving vehicle break-ins, unauthorized use of vehicles, or burglaries of habitations where firearms were taken. 

In the month of September, there have been a total of 16 break-ins or thefts, according to incident reports.
