Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golf coach Lise Malherbe has released the Lions' fall schedule for the 2022- 23 season.
Competing in Division I for the first time this fall, the Lions compete in four tournaments during the fall, beginning with the Kelsey Chugg Invitational at Weber State on September 19-20.
"We are extremely excited to play in our first Division I season this fall," said Malherbe. "Making connections with new coaches was key to getting a competitive schedule put together for this first season and we are excited for the new challenges that awaits us. I have full confidence in our ladies to compete and win."
The Lions' lone tournament in the Lone Star state comes at Sam Houston, the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational on September 26-27. The final two tournaments come in Arkansas at Arkansas State and Little Rock, respectively.
The Lady Red Wolves Classic takes place on October 10-11 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the Little Rock Golf Classic is in Hot Springs on October 17-18.
Malherbe concluded, "September seems like months away, but it will be here before we know it! We have a great group of incoming players to join our current group. They are all playing competitive schedules this summer in preparation for the season, so we will be ready to hit the ground running in September."
