PRINCETON — The Sulphur Springs Wildcats went to Princeton Friday night and got a double digit win, 65-51.

A very close first half found Sulphur Springs leading 11-10 at the end of the first quarter and 29-28 at halftime.

The second half is where Sulphur Springs put the game away, outscoring Princeton 36-23 to give them the comfortable 65-51 win.

Four Wildcats finished in double digits with Grayson McClure leading the way with 17 points. Cameron Kahn ended with 13, Sadaidriene Hall 11, Boo Wilkerson 10, Justin Haire 9 and La’modrick Johnson 5.

The win makes the Wildcats record 16-6.

The JV team got the win as well with a final score of 39-36. Kodrick Turner led the team with 15 points. Other scorers were Ben Hatcher 8, Jacob Whisenhunt 8, Jackson Darrow 4, Parker Whisenhunt 4, Jermain Cleveland 2 and Bull Turner 1.

The Wildcats will play again on Tuesday night at Sherman. The Freshmen team will start at 5 p.m., the JV at 6:15 p.m. and the Varsity at 7:30 p.m.
