Diosdado scores lone goal

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats soccer team hosted Lovejoy Friday night in a game that ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Wildcats trailed for much of the game. Alejandro Diosdado was able to tie things up late, scoring an unassisted goal.
“We were down with about 20 minutes left in the game, and our boys fought back and scored to tie it,” Coach Alexi Upton said. “I am very proud of our guys and how we played.”
Sulphur Springs will play again Friday, Feb. 7 at Community and will begin district play Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Greenville.
