COMMUNITY — The Sulphur Springs Wildcats traveled to Community Friday night for a non-district game. The Wildcats entered the night with six conservative games without a loss.

Omar Hernandez started the scoring for Sulphur Springs, picking up an unassisted goal. Cristin Ramirez followed him with a goal, assisted by Hernandez.

Hernandez scored the final goal, as well, on an assist from Kevin Yanez, giving Sulphur Springs the 3-1 win.

“We have four wins and three ties in our last seven games,” Coach Alexi Upton said. “We are really out working teams and playing amazing. I’m very proud of our guys and Cristin Ramirez who had his first goal in four years.”

Sulphur Springs will begin district play Tuesday night in Greenville. The varsity team starts at 7:15 p.m.
