Bench ties on individual score

MCKINNEY — The Sulphur Springs Wildcats finished third in the Heritage Ranch Open tournament on Tuesday. The tournament, which featured 10 teams, was turned into a nine-hole event due to the rain and lightening delays and potential storms surrounding the area.
Colton Bench finished tied for third in the event out of 50 players. He finished with a score of 40 (+4) for the day. Other scores for the Wildcats were Kip Childress, who finished with a score of 43 (+7); Grant Mohesky, 46 (+10); Rylan Brewer, 49 (+13); and Caleb Kesting, 52 (+16).
Sulphur Springs will compete again on Feb. 17-18 in the Regional Preview at Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club.
