HIGHLAND PARK- The Sulphur Springs Wildcats traveled to Highland Park Tuesday for a non-district match. The Wildcats entered the match with a ton of momentum, going unbeaten in their last six games.

Despite holding Highland Park to just one goal, Sulphur Springs was never able to find the back of the net themselves, falling 1-0 in the non-district match.

“Tough fought loss, we had a lot of chances but could not finish,” coach Alexi Upton said. “They got one in the second half, and we couldn’t get one back.”

Both of the Sulphur Springs junior varsity squads played as well, but neither of them had better outings. The junior varsity B team fell by a score of 6-0 while the A team lost 8-0.
