Begin district March 9
The Sulphur Springs Wildcats baseball team released their schedule for the 2021 season. After going 10-2 before their season was shut down last year, the Wildcats will hope to pick up where they left off a year ago.
Their opening scrimmage is Monday, Feb. 8 on the road against Sherman starting at 6:30 p.m. Later that week the Wildcats will have their first home scrimmage, Friday, Feb. 12 against Terrell beginning at 6 p.m.
With a road scrimmage at Bullard Monday, Feb. 15, Sulphur Springs will close the scrimmage portion of their schedule with a home game against North Lamar, Friday, Feb. 19. Both of those games will begin at 6 p.m.
The Wildcats begin the preseason portion of their schedule with a tournament at Tyler Lee on the weekend of Feb. 25-27. The following weekend they will be in the Wylie East tournament, before hosting Longview Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. for their district opener. March 11-13 Sulphur Springs will close out their preseason with the Hallsville tournament before going back to district play.

• Friday, April 9, Mount Pleasant @ Sulphur Springs at 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 13, Texas High @ Sulphur Springs at 7 p.m.
• Friday, April 16, Sulphur Springs @ Marshall at 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 20, Pine Tree @ Sulphur Springs at 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 27, Sulphur Springs @ Hallsville at 7 p.m.
