COMO-PICKTON

The Como-Pickton Lady Eagles got back into the win column this week with a win over Harts Bluff and will hope to carry that momentum over to next week. On Tuesday, they will host Boles with the junior varsity starting at 5 p.m. with the varsity to follow. On Friday, they will travel to Alba-Golden, where the varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity to follow. Como-Pickton will have just two games remaining on their schedule after next week.

CUMBY

The Cumby Lady Trojans entered this week ranked No. 9 in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association with a 9-1 record and seven-game winning streak. They lost their Tuesday matchup against North Hopkins but hope to get back to their winning ways in their district match against Alba-Golden Tuesday. The junior varsity will begin at 5 p.m. with the varsity to follow. The varsity team will have a bye on Friday.

MILLER GROVE

The Miller Grove Lady Hornets are getting on at the right time, winning their last two games as they enter the back stretch of their schedule. They will have a pair of home games next week, starting with their Tuesday matchup against Fruitvale. The junior varsity will start at 5 p.m. with the varsity to follow. On Friday, they will have a varsity-only match against PTAA that will begin at 6 p.m.

NORTH HOPKINS

The North Hopkins Lady Panthers picked up a huge district win against Cumby this week and look to carry that momentum over to next week. On Tuesday, they host Harts Bluff for a varsity only match, beginning at 5 p.m. On Friday, they travel to Boles where they varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity to follow.

SULPHUR BLUFF

The Sulphur Bluff Lady Bears are entering the final few games of their season on a high note as winners of their last two games. After beating Rivercrest and Clarksville, they travel to Linden-Kildare Tuesday, where the junior varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the varsity to follow. On Friday, they will host James Bowie for a varsity-only game that will be their senior night. It is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.

SULPHUR SPRINGS

The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats picked up their first district win this week, defeating Marshall 3-2, and look to keep the winning going with a district match next week. They will have Tuesday off and then will host Hallsville Friday. The varsity will go first and begin at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity and freshman teams to follow.
