Sulphur Springs
The Sulphur Springs volleyball and tennis teams have been busy in events played recently. The Wildcat tennis team lost 13-6 to Spring Hill and fell 16-3 against rival Hallsville.
The teams played Thursday and Friday in the Whitehouse tournament. Scores will be published when they are reported.
The Sulphur Springs volleyball team is now 6-4 after recent competition.
The Lady Cats are in the Wills Point tournament which ends Saturday. They won their pool, but were idle Friday.
In recent competition, they lost 3-1 to McKinney North in a spirited battle.
The Lady Cats are under new head girls volleyball coach Bailey Dorner this season. Dorner was a member of the coaching staff at Sulphur Springs last year and took over as head volleyball coach after the departure of coach Justin Maness.
