Sulphur Bluff 10-5 entering back half of the season

SULPHUR BLUFF — The Sulphur Bluff Bears have gotten off to a solid start to their season, winning 10 of their first 15 games. Sulphur Bluff opened the year winning two of its first three games, and then went on a three-game losing streak. The Bears responded with a six-game winning streak, outscoring their opponents 375-213 in the span. Sulphur Bluff has lost just once since its losing streak at the beginning of the season, which came after the six-game winning streak in a road game at Ector. They have won their two games since then, making them 8-1 in their last nine games. So far this season, Sulphur Bluff has gotten wins over Savoy 82-25, Garland Christian Academy 58-47, Yantis 61-32, Fruitvale 65-29, Campbell 65-54, Yantis 74-18, Sam Rayburn 62-43, CHAAMP Home School 48-37, Como-Pickton 42-35 and Honey Grove 40-39. Sulphur Bluff will get back to action in the Boles Christmas Classic on Dec. 27-28. Their remaining schedule after that is:
