A rundown of opening night volleyball matchups involving Hopkins County teams.

The Sulphur Springs Ladycats won the first game of their tri-match with North Lamar and Sherman, defeating the Pantherettes of North Lamar, 3-0 (27-25, 26-24, 25-17).
The Ladycats will take part in the Garland Tournament Aug. 9-10.
Como-Pickton also picked up a win in their season opener, defeating Clarksville, 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-13).
The Lady Eagles will head to Chisum for tournament play this weekend.
