Returning Lions hope to make another deep playoff run

Redburn had a great sophomore season for Saltillo, in which he was named Offensive Player of the Year for District-24A last year. Redburn enters his junior season with the experience of a playoff run a year ago and will be a key part of the Lions' success this season.

  • Senior Chris Boekhorst goes up for a dunk after a team workout in Saltillo Thursday. The 6- foot 10-inch upperclassman his coming off a stellar junior campaign in which he was named the District MVP for District-24A. Boekhorst was a catalyst of Saltillo’s 30-5 season a year ago in which they went 10-0 in district play. The Lions made it to the Regional Quarter Finals last season and will hope to make an even deeper run this year with the help of their returning starters.
