Youth Sports
The soccer pitches of Hopkins County will soon come to life – and area youth will have their opportunities for their own golden goals.
Registration for the 2019 season is underway through July 22.
The registration fee for the fall season is $60 per child and includes team jerseys and league fees. Players are responsible for socks, shorts, shoes and shin guards.
Players must be 4 years old on or before Dec. 31, 2019 and must have a birth certificate on file to be eligible to play.
The season runs from Sept. 7-Oct. 26 and the fall draft will be held Aug. 3.
Registration may be done online at sulphurspringssoccer.org and forms are also available at Hibbert Sports in Sulphur Springs.
Walk-up registration will be held July 20, also at Hibbert Sports.
Volunteers are also needed as coaches, managers, administrators, employees and referees. Volunteers will be asked to complete SafeSport Course Certification.
Dates for coach and player clinics will be determined.
