Manuel Esparza signs with SAGU

Manuel Esparza (second from right) signed a letter to play soccer for the Southern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie Tuesday morning. The defensive centerback player stands with (from left) SAGU Men’s Soccer Head Coach Clementine Oancea, Assistant Coach Cesar Espana and Sulphur Springs Boy’s Soccer Head Coach Alexi Upton. This is the first college signing under Upton. Esparza is currently undecided on a college major, and he said he prefers to play defense over offense.
