The Dallas Solar 7B soccer team will hold a fundraiser at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Sweet Frog, 1707 S. Broadway in Sulphu Springs.

The fundraiser is to help with costs and dues for the team, which draws players from across North and East Texas, including players from Hopkins County.

The Edge athletic training camp is currently underway, with sessions taking place Monday-Friday. The camp comes at no charge to Sulphur Springs athletes.

Athletic camps are from 8-10 a.m. for students entering grades 9-12.

High school football skills camp will be from 10-10:30 a.m. and skills camp for junior high and ninth grade students will be from 10:30-11 a.m.

For seventh and eighth grade boys and girls, camp will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The summer workout schedule for Como-Pickton girls’ athletics is ongoing, with sessions held each Monday-Thursday through July 31.

Morning sessions are set for 9:30-11 a.m. and evening sessions from 5:30-7 p.m. Sessions will not be held July 22-23 and an additional session will be held July 26.

Classic Lanes will host Kid’s Day Out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday each week of summer break.

This program will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, August 23.

All ages can participate for only $7 per person; costs include unlimited bowling and free shoe rental.
