Ladycats tie 2-2 at home

The Sulphur Springs Ladycats hosted North Lamar Tuesday night in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. North Lamar took an early lead, scoring in the opening minutes of the game, but Sulphur Springs answered back in the 19th minute on a corner kick from Vanessa Lara to tie the game up. North Lamar wasted no time to get their lead back scoring just one minute later. The Ladycats trailed for much of the remainder of the game until Katelyn Robinson was able to tie things back up with a goal in the final minutes of the game. The Ladycats will play in the Pine Tree Showcase Tournament Jan. 9-11 and will play at home on Tuesday, Jan. 14 against Princeton with the JV starting at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity to follow. Their schedule for the Pine Tree Showcase Tournament is:
