Fresh off a tournament victory in Union Grove, the Como-Pickton Lady Eagles welcomed the Christian Home Educators of Sulphur Springs (CHESS) Lady Knights to CPHS for a non-district match Monday. Como-Pickton continued their excellence this season, taking down the Lady Knights 47-18.

Kara Tifft led the way for the Lady Eagles with 12 points, five rebounds, and one steal. Addi Monk was another key factor with 11 points, seven rebounds, and one assist.

Other scorers include Mattison Buster with seven, Chelsey Osbourne with six, Maggie Brown and Annie Franklin with five each, and Rhayne Thomas with four.

The following day, the Lady Eagles traveled to Bogata to take on the Rivercrest Lady Rebels. Como-Pickton continued their winning ways, coming away with a 40-30 victory.

Monk recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Tifft also had double-digits with 10 points while also tacking on three assists and two steals.

Other scorers include Buster with six, Morris with five, Osbourne with three, and Lewellen with two.

The Lady Eagles next game is Tuesday, when they take on the Sulphur Bluff Lady Bears in Sulphur Bluff.
