The Lady Bears turned around Friday and had an even better game, beating Union Hill by a final score of 81-14.

Neal and Wade were the leading scorers in this one, finishing with 21 points each. Wade also had 10 rebounds, giving her a double-double in the blowout win. Wade wasn’t the only Lady Bear with a double-double, however, as Stanley had 12 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

“This season has been different without tournaments and cancellations due to COVID,” Peyton said. “The girls have pushed though and set goals each week. They really work together and each game I have different girls stepping up and leading in different ways.”

The Lady Bears return home for their homecoming game Friday against Bloomburg. The varsity girls are set to start at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity boys to follow.
