“I really enjoyed our effort and grittiness today. We played pretty well as a team in the first game,” Coach Dalton Herndon said. “We moved the ball well and payed really well on the defensive end.”

Game two was a very close battle that didn’t see either team finding their offense in the first half. Saltillo led 6-4 at halftime.

Both teams opened the third quarter with big scoring outbursts, with White-wright taking the lead 17-15 entering the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter Saltillo was able to outscore Whitewright 12-10, tying things up at the end of regulation 27-27.
