Sulphur Springs remains in top 10

The Jan. 20 update to the TABC rankings was released this week, and three local teams have found a way to stay in the top 25 of their respective divisions.
Sulphur Springs, who has climbed as high as No. 3 in the rankings, find themselves still in the Top 10 of Class 5A despite a loss last week to now No. 21 Greenville.
The Saltillo Lions boys team stays right about where they’ve been in the past few weeks coming in at No. 19 this week in Class 1A. Saltillo has stayed in the No. 15-20 range for a large part of the season.
The Saltillo Lady Lions continue to improve in the rankings as they are at a high No. 13 this week. Their 21-7 record has kept them in the rankings for a huge majority of the season. In weeks past they’ve been in the same range as the boys team.
