Body

The Miller Grove Hornets have finished their regular season and will face Avery in the Bi-District round of the playoffs. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Paris High School.

Miller Grove enters the post-season on a two-game winning streak, defeating Savoy, 71-33, and beating Fruitvale, 62-26. These back-to-back wins come after a pair of losses to No. 18 Ector and Dodd City, who finished first and second in the district. The Hornets won three consecutive games leading up to that, five of them in their final seven games.

Miller Grove has the upper-hand in games against common opponents, going 5-2 in such games, while Avery went 4-4. The Hornets wins in that category come against Redwater, who they beat 48-46, a 63-33 win over Campbell, 58-44 against Sulphur Bluff and a pair of wins against Fruitvale, 65-18 and 62-26. Avery enters the post-season winning four of their final five games.
