County schools prepare for first official week of practice

Sulphur Springs went 28-9 a year ago and made it to the Regional Quarterfinals before losing to No. 1 ranked Lancaster.

Boekhorst had a great junior campaign in which he was named the MVP of District-24A and was a huge part of the Lions 30-5 season. Saltillo advanced to the Regional Quarter Finals before losing to Slidell and hopes to make an even deeper run in the 2020-2021 season.

  • Sophomore Logan Butler catches a pass in the 7-on-7 portion of Cumby’s practice Tuesday. The Trojans went 8-4 last season and hope to have an even better year in their first season under new head coach Charles Boles. Cumby will have their first official day of practice Monday.
