Sulphur Springs Athletic Director Greg Owens released this year’s athletic camps schedule, and The Edge is back — at no cost.
From Jun 10 through July 18, The Edge athletic training camp will take place Mondays-Fridays with days off Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10.
For boys and girls entering ninth grade through 12th, camp will be held 8-10 a.m., and high school football skills will be 10-10:30 a.m. and 10:30- 11 a.m. for ninth grade and junior high student athletes.
The junior high Edge program will take place 9:30-10:30 a.m. for seventh and eighth grades boys and girls.

SUMMER CAMPS
A number of summer camps are available throughout the next few months at Sulphur Springs.
Girls Basketball Camp will take place Monday-Wednesday, June 10-12 in the SSHS gym at 9-11 a.m. for those entering second through fifth grades and noon-2 p.m. for grades six through nine.
Cost is $50 per student.

Also in the SSHS gym will be Boys Basketball Camp, Monday-Thursday, June 10-13 at 1-3 p.m. for boys kindergarten through fifth grade at a cost of $50 per camper, 4-6 p.m. boys sixth through eighth for $50 per camper and 4-6 p.m. for ninth graders at $35 per camper.

Softball will take place in the multi-purpose building Monday-Wednesday, June 10-12, 1-2:30 p.m. for girls entering second through fifth grades and 2:30-4 p.m. for sixth through ninth grades.
Both sessions are $50 per camper.

Alexi Upton will head up boys and girls soccer camp at 6-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 24-27 for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.

For Sulphur Springs ISD students only, there will be eighth and ninth grades football camp.Camp will take place 9:30 a.m.-noon, Tuesday-Thursday, July 30-Aug. 1.

Tennis will be coached by Tony Martinez Monday-Thursday, July 29-Aug. 1 at 8-10 a.m. for students entering kindergarten through sixth grades and 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for those going into seventh-12th grades.
