The 20th annual Lone Star Heritage Quilt Guild quilt show took place Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21 at The ROC near downtown Sulphur Springs.

The following were awarded Saturday afternoon:

Bed Quilts (one person, 70 inches or bigger any side, machine pieced)

  • First place — Denise Givney
  • Second place — Karen Keeler
  • Third place — Ora Swarts

Bed Quilts (two or more people, 70 inches or bigger any side, machine pieced)

Any Quilt (50% or more hand applique, machine pieced)
