CHRISTUS Report

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital-Sulphur Springs is excited about all of the ways we continue to expand our services to the local community. We want to make sure you know everything we offer — right here, close to home!

EVENTS

Join us for Designer Bag BINGO on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Civic Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the event will begin at 6 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Hopkins County Healthcare Foundation. Tickets may be purchased at Alliance Bank, CNB and Guaranty Bank & Trust or contact the Healthcare Foundation at 903-438-4799.

NEW SERVICES

We are very excited to announce our hospital will now have 24/7 TeleNephrology Coverage beginning Monday, Nov. 11. Dr. Mark Greenwell and Dr. Armando Aponte will provide coverage to our patients in the hospital via telemedicine. They will be available for consultations both in the ER and the inpatient departments. Their physician practice has already begun serving our community in the outpatient clinic setting, and we are looking forward to caring for patients with their help in the inpatient space.

CONSTRUCTION

We are working to improve our facility by adding the Ruth & Jack Gillis Women’s Center on the first floor of the hospital. Please excuse our mess during the construction. While we do not anticipate any interruption to your visit, we appreciate your patience.

AWARDS

We are excited to have received the highest level of safety grade awarded by an independent, nationally recognized safety and quality group. This publicized achievement is earned by keeping patients safe from errors, injuries and infections and requires attention from every member of our team, both clinical and nonclinical. We applaud our associates for their focus and dedication to ensuring we provide the safest environment possible for our patients.
