Funeral service for Nelda Pace, 80, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at Murray-Orwoksy Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Pace passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 at Carriage Home in Sulphur Springs.
Nelda Pace was born Jan. 29, 1940 in Winnsboro, Texas to Taylor J. Julian “T.J.” and Marie Covington. She married Walter Pace March 1, 1962 in Winnsboro, and he preceded her in death in 2012. She retired as a teacher’s aide in special education at Sulphur Springs ISD.
She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn and husband, Larry; sons, Taylor Pace and wife Paula, and Dale Pace and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Kyle Lee, Layton Pace and Kaden Pace; great-grandchild, Adalynn Pace; and siblings, David Julian of Tyler and Joy Thompson of Gilmer.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
