Funeral service for Mildred Earhart, 80, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Suzzanne Renwick officiating. Interment will follow at Rest-lawn Memorial Park with Jonathon Bassham, Wayne Davenport, Kenneth Davenport, Jesse Davenport, James Davenport, Gordon Davenport and George Davenport serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mrs. Earhart passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at her residence.
Mildred was born April 8, 1939 to George and Lilliam Davenport in Lone Oak, Texas. Mildred was a retired office clerk and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzzanne “Suzie” Renwick Partner Wayne Davis, Carroll Elain and Gloria Flemming; grandchildren, Jason Wayne Bassham and Kristin Nicole Bassham; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Michale Earhart; brothers, Glenn Davenport, Clifford Davenport and Robert Davenport; and sister, Mary Hall.
