Margaret Faye Shirley Brown, 93, passed away in Arlington, Texas on July 17, 2019.
Margaret was born to Alvis C. Shirley and Ida Belle Stout Shirley on Aug. 27, 1925 in Dike/Birthright, Texas.
She is survived by one son, Rhett Brown Funk; two grandchildren, Virginia Brown Funk and Zackary Brown Funk; two great-grandchildren; and two special women Margaret called her daughters April Leone and Donna Saulmon. She is also survived by one nephew, several nieces and three great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Old Tarrant Cemetery at 11 a.m. Aug. 17, 2019 for scattering of ashes. A memorial service and lunch will follow at Shooks Chapel Community Center at 12:15 p.m. Please come and share your memories of Margaret.
